Vietnam hosts Asia Trade Promotion Forum

The 21st Asia Trade Promotion Forum (ATPF) will be held in Hanoi from April 3-4. This is the first time for Vietnam to host this forum since the country joined the organisation in 2001.
This year, the forum is themed “Challenges to Trade Promotion Organisations (TPOs): Serving the Business Community More Professionally and Effectively.”

The participants will focus their discussions on two topics – “Understanding TPO’s customers” and “Serving the Business Community in the Era of Internationalisation.”

The 21st ATPF creates a good opportunity for Vietnam’s TPOs to share experiences with other ATPF members and receive their support in order to promote trade, tourism and investment co-operation in Vietnam.

AFPF was founded in 1987 with the participation of IPOs of economies in Asia in order to promote development of trade, tourism, creating a transparent investment environment and supporting enterprises in the region to boost exports.

ATPF currently has 21 members. The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Promotion Centre (Vietrade) represents Vietnam in ATPF.
